The story behind Naylor Made Framing.

Made by hand. Made to last.

Naylor Made Framing began with a simple belief: that a great frame doesn't compete with the art — it completes it. Every commission starts with a conversation, not a catalogue.

Bespoke means made for you. It means taking the time to understand your piece, your space, and what you're trying to achieve — then making something that lasts.

The maker — Naylor Made Framing

Here's Jonny

My path to framing has been anything but conventional, and it's shaped how I work.

I started in the print industry as an account manager, learning to communicate clearly with everyone from shop floor staff to major clients. From there, I co-founded a brewery business from the ground up, where I learned that every job — no matter how small — demands attention to detail from start to finish.

A move into precision design work taught me real craft skills and a simple rule: if something's not right, you do it again. Perfection is worth the extra effort.

Most recently, I worked in lighting design for galleries, learning how light and environment shape the way we actually see a piece. That experience now informs every frame I build — because how something is presented matters as much as the piece itself.
